Reflecting Through Art Project 2008

Reflecting Thru' Art is an exhibition under the auspices of Cork Mental Health Foundation and began in 1996. Open to anyone using the mental health services, the project aims to encourage creative activity, raise the profile of the artists, and increase awareness of talents and to use art as a bridge between artists and the wider community.

The launch of the 'Reflecting Thru' Art Project 2008' took place at Cork International Airport on Thursday, 6th March and was officially opened by Mr. John Creedon, RTE presenter. It remained at the Airport for 5 weeks and is currently at Cork University Hospital, Wilton.

From here the exhibition will tour a number of venues in Cork City and County.

Each piece of work will be framed. Each piece of work will be catalogued.

The catalogue will be numbered and contain photographs of the work and some information on the artist and or the picture.

Purchase of Paintings and general enquiries to
Cork Mental Health Foundation.

Due to increasing costs of framing and the production of booklets and cards we have had to introduce an entry fee of €20 per exhibit which will go towards alleviating these costs.

Entry form for submitting pieces can be downloaded below.
