BNY Mellon make an Impact

Employees of BNY Mellon came to Mitchelstown to volunteer and make a difference to people using the mental health services.

Richard Lee and a team of volunteers from BNY Mellon came to Mitchelstown to assist us in providing a raised bed garden where people using the mental health services could come and grow all sorts of plants and vegetables. The garden is to encourage clients of the Cahir Hill Day Centre to get out and get active and hopefully learn new skills while producing some lovely produce.

The work done by the volunteers took place at the local community allotments and after a lot of blood sweat and tears the ground had been cleared and four lovely raised beds were left behind.

we thoroughly enjoyed the day and all the lads found it really rewarding to help your foundation and do a bit of hard work!!
